ZScripter has no accounts, ads, analytics, tracking, or automatic diagnostic uploads.

Your data

Games, saves, settings, and translation caches stay on your device. ZScripter does not sync with iCloud. Delete local data and saved API keys in the app; separately shared copies must be deleted elsewhere.

Translation

Apple translation runs on your device. With your permission, cloud translation sends game text and context, including upcoming dialogue when enabled, directly to Gemini, OpenAI, DeepSeek, or OpenRouter using your API key. OpenRouter also forwards requests to its model providers. Keys are stored securely on your device. You can turn translation off or revoke permission in settings. Providers' privacy and retention policies apply.

Online services

VNDB receives your optional game searches and artwork requests. Games may contact their own services when network access is enabled. Announcement checks send only the platform and build channel; ZScripter does not retain these requests.

Importing and sharing

Computer Import transfers files over your local network while its session is open. Imports may continue in the background when iOS permits. Files you share go to your chosen recipient.
