ZScripter has no accounts or ads and does not use data for advertising tracking.
Your Data
Games, saves, settings and translation caches stay on your device. ZScripter does not sync with iCloud. You can delete local data and saved API keys in the app.
Diagnostics
With your permission, ZScripter sends technical diagnostics to the developer to improve compatibility and reliability. These may include game catalog IDs, crash reports, runtime and import errors, performance measurements, and app and device details. Diagnostics use a random installation ID, are separate from support requests and email, and are kept for up to 90 days. Disable submission in Settings to stop uploads and clear queued diagnostics.
Service providers processing data on our behalf must provide the same or equivalent protection described in this policy.
Translation
Apple translation runs on your device. With your permission, LLM translation sends game text and context to Gemini, OpenAI, DeepSeek, OpenRouter or your configured server. OpenRouter may forward requests to model providers. A configured server may be local or a public cloud service; its operator controls processing and retention under its privacy policy. API keys stay in this device’s Keychain. You can disable translation or revoke permission in Game Translation settings.
Optional Services
Optional metadata searches send search terms and selected game IDs to VNDB, IGDB or SteamGridDB, directly or through our Cloudflare service. Public results may be cached for up to one hour; we do not keep personal search histories. Providers and Cloudflare process network information to deliver and protect these requests.
Games may contact their own services when network access is enabled. Announcement checks send only the platform and build channel; ZScripter does not retain these requests.
Importing and sharing
Computer Import transfers files over your local network while its session is open. Imports may continue in the background when iOS permits. Files you share go to your chosen recipient.
Network and cloud imports send authentication and file requests to your chosen server or service; its operator controls processing and retention. Account labels, such as email addresses, are saved locally; passwords, private keys and OAuth tokens are saved in this device’s Keychain. Delete a saved drive in Settings > Network Drives to remove its credentials and request sign-out. You can also revoke access in the provider’s account settings.
To investigate issues and respond to feedback, support requests include the message, technical context and attachments you choose to send, plus an optional follow-up email. Each request has an independent ID and is kept for up to 180 days. Contact support@zscripter.com with privacy questions or deletion requests.
